And I must say that the attempt has worked really well. What we have on our hands is a very cool game which becomes really addictive when you play it. It is simple, yet intriguing. The game starts with a dialog between a billionaire who has had his stuff stolen. He has an idea where it is and he guides Shaggy and Scooby till there. Now, it is up to the combo to find out clues about the stolen things and find them out. But it is not so easy as it sounds. Blocking your way are various obstacles, from rivers to monkeys, and you need to get past everyone of them. What you are supplied is the inventory, which gets stocked when you are picking stuff off the level. It can be a frying pan or a bunch of bananas, each has its own use. The inventory becomes one important aspect of getting past the maze. The second most important things are the clues. When you find a clue, it tends to point to the next clue and the missing ones. When you have found all the clues inside a level, then you are automatically directed to the stolen material. There, you need to use your inventory items to get the stuff. The fear meter is actually your life, and it keeps getting full when you get scared because of hidden obstacles. You can lower your fear meter by picking up power-ups, and you can eliminate them through the inventory items. A great and very addictive game overall, this Scooby adventure is a definite hit!
